About

Hi, I'm Daz — and I make learning to drive feel a lot less scary.

I've been teaching automatic driving lessons in Durham, Spennymoor and across County Durham for years, and I genuinely love it. There's nothing better than seeing a pupil who turned up to lesson one nervous walk out of the test centre with a pass certificate.

I'm a fully qualified DVSA Approved Driving Instructor (ADI). My car is modern, comfortable, and dual-controlled — so you're always in safe hands. Lessons are calm, patient, and pitched exactly to your level. No shouting, no rushing, no judgement.

Whether you're 17 and just picked up your provisional in Durham, or 50 and getting back behind the wheel after a long break, you'll find me approachable and easy to learn with. Most pupils come through word-of-mouth, and I'm proud of every pass certificate that walks out of the test centre.
